Jessica Hudon was back in the studio again this week, working on some of her original songs.

Scott Robinson was in to pick up 150 more copies of his new CD. This CD is selling fast, and people are finding Scott's songs to be memorable and fun to listen to and sing along with. Proceeds from every sale are being donated to charity.

Cory Mitchell came onboard to record some original songs with us. His band will be coming in to add tracks to the bed-tracks he laid down with us recently. We look forward to working with Cory during 2012.

We began working with talented singer-songwriter Jessica Hudon. Jessica has a great vocal range and brings a hard edge to some of her songs, and a soft, angelic quality to others. We look forward to working with her more during the new year.

Work continued on adding the Callister Choral Ensemble tracks to the first GODI CD, and doing a complete re-mix at the same time. The newly polished version should be available early in the new year.

Talented singer-songwriter Jason Cain recorded his first track with us. He expects to return early in the new year to record more of his songs.

Callie Piticco returned for an outdoor photo-shoot and also recorded more material for the 2nd GODI CD. We look forward to a regular shedule with Callie as we work on more of the music and imagery that is GODI.

Callie was back in the studio working on some new songs for the 2nd GODI CD. We have also decided to re-mix and add some features to the songs on the first CD, and to re-release it with the backup vocals provided by the Callister Choral Ensemble. Work on this is expected to progress throughout the fall and winter.

Matthieu was back with his guitar player, Rick, who recorded their version of 'Drops of Jupitor'. Rick played acoustic guitar and added two tracks of harmony vocals, while Matthieu provided the lead vocals. The finished track may be heard on Matthieu's page here on the website. (see 'clients')

Callie was in the studio to record more of the 2nd GODI CD, after a brief break during the summer. This CD will feature more vocal work, more guitars, and the backing of the Callister Choral Ensemble. It is proving to be a more demanding project than the first release!

I recently did an on-location recording of a piano duet, featuring two very talented women performing a piece by Shubert. My portable digital recording equipment did an excellent job of picking up the nuances of this amazing piano, and of the performance itself.

I had the pleasure of meeting and creating some improvisational music with Christophe Sarret from France. He is the music director for Nouvelle Star, the equivalent of American Idol.

I had the pleasure of meeting and creating some improvisational music with Joel Derouin, a violinist who has appeared on countless albums, and toured with Sheryl Crow. He's worked on movie soundtracks, and on releases by Ricky Martin, Mariah Carey, Linkin Park, Elton John, Pussycat Dolls, Alanis Morissette, Harry Connick Jr. and countless others.

Work is progressing on the 2nd GODI CD, 'Crystal Dreams and the Iron Key'. This second installment in the GODI trilogy features a harder-edged sound, more guitars, more choral work and the recognizable sound of Callie as lead vocalist, performing the part of Crystal Dreams.

We recorded special instruments at the home of Jody Marsolais, and created a CD with the addition of nature sounds and additional music. Congratulations to Jody for a fine debut CD, entitled 'Awakening to Oneness'.

Award-winning vocalist Matthieu Cameron lent his amazing voice to our GODI project, singing the only male vocal track on the first CD. He will also be featured on a song on the second GODI CD, and perhaps the third as well.

Callie was back with us to put the finishing touches on two more GODI songs from the first release. We're almost done! Once the final song is recorded, we'll go over everything with a fine-tooth comb and fix any minor glitches, then the CD be ready to master and release!

Ryan and Taylor of the duo, 'Bryden Ave' were in the studio recording an original song, 'Run Down'. The song consists of two acoustic guitars, recorded simultaneously, with two tracks of vocals laid over top. They did a fine job!

Matthieu Cameron was back in the studio, laying down tracks for a GODI song, to be released soon. He did his usual awesome job of acing the difficult melody line on this tune, and even improvised on the chorus, bringing even more life to this song. The GODI CD is expected to be released sometime this spring.

The 'opera singers' were recorded by Callie and I for one of the GODI songs, and next on the agenda is a session with Matthieu who will sing the only song with a male voice on the CD.

We polished up two more of the GODI songs with Callie, then did another photoshoot with her. We're down to the last few songs on the first CD, than at last we can release it, likely in another month or so.

Our own music project, GODI, has been progressing nicely with over 3/4 of the songs composed and ready for final vocal tracking. We thought it was time for a new logo, and this one carries a bit of a sword theme in the lettering to go along with the Crystal Dreams story. Vocalist and composer Jonny Yumang began work on the first of his own compositions, a mix of hip-hop and soul. Jon has a wonderful voice and is expected to be laying tracks down on a regular basis!

Louise Goddard came by to begin work on some hypnosis CDs. It was a very relaxing and different experience recording over an hour of guided meditation and neuro linguistic programming dialogue. We're adding a music track to the vocals to help create the right mood.

Today we had a photo shoot with EarthGrrl, shooting outdoors in a nearby forest. The mosquitoes were nasty, yet we were able to capture a lot of very nice photos to be used as promotional images. Work continues on the first EarthGrrl CD.

EarthGrrl is back in the studio beginning work on the first CD. The EarthGrrl project was begun in 2008 as a series of songs written from the perspective of a young woman. After a two year search, we have finally found our EarthGrrl who is now hard at work on the project with us. Please see the 'Projects' section for a sample of the music.

Matthieu Cameron returned to the studio and did an amazing job of 'Cry Me a River'. My challenge is to play all of the backing tracks for this fantastic arrangement of the big-band classic. Matthieu's version of the song has plenty of wow-factor, everyone who' se heard this is left with nothing to say except 'Wow!' (NOTE: This song will be featured in the Clients' section once production is complete)

A singer songwriter named Scott Robinson recorded the first two tracks of what will develop into an entire CD of his original music. His music talks about the places he loves in Northern Ontario. These are upbeat and fun songs, but someone who had an obvious passion for nature, our province of Ontario, and creating music!

A talented singer-songwriter named Frank Stanley has sent us a CD of his songs and we're gradually recording all of his tracks to prepare for his visit to lay down the vocals. For each song, Frank sends us his guitar track and we build the arrangements around that, adding one instrument at a time.
