I had met with Josee last year and she had some very good lyric ideas and wished to record songs. She went back to create some haunting and compelling melodies in a soft jazz genre.
PROJECT DETAILS:
I now had the privilege and challenge of working with Josee to create the rhythm and arrangement, plus perform the band instruments and record her vocals. Once done, we brought Josee back in to record the final vocal track.

MUSIC:
'Hushaby' - Josee does not play an instrument, so we had to create the entire song from the melody line she had composed. It resulted in a smoky jazzy tune, what a perfect voice for this tune!
